GoSh Americas is a family-owned importer connecting North American food manufacturers, distributors, and wholesale buyers to a verified grower network spanning 14 countries and 2,300+ partners — handling sourcing, quality control, cold-chain logistics, and USDA-compliant documentation in one accountable pipeline.
Why buyers stay
Over 2,300 active grower partners across 14 Latin American countries — Mexico, Peru, Chile, Guatemala, Colombia, Honduras, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, the Dominican Republic, Panama, and Bolivia. On-site QC inspectors are stationed at 9 origin packing facilities, and every lot is tested before the container is sealed.
View the sourcing network →By sourcing direct from origin and consolidating freight through our own Pharr operation, GoSh programs run an average of 23% below U.S. domestic equivalents on avocado, mango, and lime lines — without sacrificing pack style, grade, or transit integrity.
See origin programs →92% on-time-in-full delivery across 11,400+ shipments in 2024. USDA-APHIS-compliant cold treatment documentation is delivered with 100% of shipments — every line, every entry, since 2017. Zero rejected entry lines in the past 36 months.
Review cold-chain & documentation →The network, in numbers
GoSh Americas moved 14.2 million pounds of fresh produce through the Pharr bridge in 2024, drawn from a sourcing web that spans two continents and a generation of grower relationships.
Flagship commodity programs
Each program is listed the way an industry directory lists programs — pack styles, growing seasons, transit days, and entry point — so a procurement manager can match a line to a truck.
Compliance & documentation
SQF Level 3 rating maintained at every GoSh-owned facility. Independent re-audit annually, with corrective action tracking on file.

Bonded warehouse at 2401 East Expressway 83 with same-day cross-dock capability. Refrigerated zones and 32-trailer reefer fleet staged on site.
A note from the second generation
GoSh Americas was founded in 2009 by my parents, in a single office above a freight broker on Jackson Avenue in McAllen. They had spent twenty years buying for U.S. retailers before that, and they started this company because the growers they trusted most had no reliable path across the border — not because the fruit wasn't good, but because the paperwork, the cold chain, and the inspection cadence weren't.
Today we run 87 people across offices in Texas, Mexico City, Lima, and Santiago. We maintain a fleet of 32 refrigerated trailers. We move, on average, more than a million pounds of fresh produce through the Pharr bridge every month. The Texas Produce Association named us Importer of the Year in 2022, and The Packer has kept us on its Top 50 Produce Wholesalers list for six years running.
None of that is the point. The point is still the one my parents made at the kitchen table that first year: a season lost to unreliable supply is a season a buyer doesn't get back. We are still in the business of making sure that doesn't happen.
If you are vetting a Latin American program — avocado, mango, lime, berries, citrus, pineapple, or something more specialized — and you want to talk to the people who will actually manage your account, write to us. We answer every qualified inquiry ourselves.
